FAQ Related Tags

The following tags are used in the FAQ section of the website, but can also be used on other pages, whenever there is a structure similar to the question/answer pattern. The Profiles section uses this too for instance.

The tag definitions can be found in debian/women/tags/faqs.wml.

The <question> tag is used to display a question. This is usually done by making it bigger than the text of the answer and/or using a bold type-face.

The <answer> tag marks up the answer to a question. This does nothing particularily fancy to the contents.

The following example:

<question>

    F/OSS?
</question>
<answer>

    can know for sure. However, Ellen Spertus has a
    wonderful paper, <em>Why Are There So Few
    Female Computer Scientists?</em> that will
    explain some of the cultural phenomena that might
    be a cause. Also, please read Val Henson's
    <em>HOWTO Encourage Women in Linux</em>.
